On the 4th and 5th of June our much loved worldleaders are going to gather once again to discuss global politics and economics, under the name of G7. They’ve decided to exclude Russia from this little party because of their occupation of the Ukrainian province ’Crimea’. Both sides are sticking to their claim to righteousness. Reality is that superpowers are fighting a war for resources.
There’s a lot of analyses to make out of this situation. But we want to focus on the importance of knowing how these geopolitical games work and how they influence our every day lifes. We don’t think any of us can actually change these powerstructures. Solidary initiatives build from the grassroots can eventually retake the actual power over our lives and give a sense of independence. It’s super important to try to start living sustainable and well informed.
